Couples are a unique dynamic that can bring both joy and stress.
Couples love intensively and also disagree intensively. Our couples counselors work with couples either weekly or intensely, which means longer sessions more frequently. Our counselors assist couples in identifying and correcting repeating patterns in their interactions, as well as providing communication skills for particular topics including finances, parenting agreements, extended family, and life decisions. We teach couples effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as techniques to enhance their relationship.
We also provide an eight-week premarital counseling/course.

Holly L. Horn, LCMHCS, is offering a unique experience for couples searching to strengthen their relationship.
What is Couples Intensive Counseling?
Intensive Counseling for couples is held in three sessions with the couple’s choice of 4- or 8-hour sessions, split between two 4-hour days. The relationship will be processed, work through, and assessed throughout these sessions. Concerns and issues within the relationship are addressed and processed. Couples will be introduced to Gottman language and tools to work through past, present and future concerns of the couple. Eight topics within the relationship realm will be covered through the 8-hour sessions. Conflict resolution skills will be introduced, practiced and perfected according to the couples needs. Goals and plans for the future will be set with interventions introduced for the couple to utilize and achieve these goals .

Cost
Cost: $1800
Couples counseling is $150 per session ($200)
for the initial, usually held once a week for
approximately 6-9 months. Intensives are
$2000 savings for short term counseling (6
months) and $3800 savings for long term
counseling!
